Lorraine Carol Mazzoni (nee Biedakiewicz), age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Louis J. Mazzoni; children, Judith (Richard) Spadoni of Crown Point, Gale (Jerry) Szrom of Crown Point, Joyce (Gary) Blau of Glenview, IL, and Jennifer (T.J.) Medema of Mokena, IL; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Adam of Calumet City, IL and Marianne Cladis of Oxnard, CA.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Zienty.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating.
Mrs. Mazzoni was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society in Crown Point.
Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN, in charge of arrangements.
