Otto R. Fifield, age 87, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Anthony Home in Crown Point, IN.
Otto is survived by his wife: Judith; four children: Steven (Randy) Fifield of CA, David (Kandi) Fifield of AZ, Linda Drasich of Crown Point, Sue Barta of MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wives: Shirley and Betty "Bayne"; parents: Otto G. and Mary Eva Fifield; brothers: Elwood, William and sister: Carol Travers.
Mr. Fifield was a former member of 1st Presbyterian Church of Crown Point and an Army veteran of WWII. Otto was a local realtor and developer of many subdivisions in Lake County. He was a former member of the Gary and Crown Point Rotary Clubs. Mr. Fifield attended Crown Point Schools, Lake Forest Academy and Purdue University.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 12:45 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre,(NOTE: NEW LOCATION- 2 blocks east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN, with John Starr officiating.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 12 Noon to 12:45 PM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN.
Memorials in Otto's name may be made to the Crown Point Community Foundation, 213 S. Court St., Crown Point, IN
