Cindy Umlauf (nee Taylor), age 46, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010 at her home after a courageous 11 year battle with cancer.
Cindy’s infectious smile, embracing hugs and genuine love for people will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Keith; her miracle triplets: Austin, Olivia and Graham; parents: Kent and Margaret Taylor; siblings: Andrea (Roger) Jones, Kent Taylor, and Jason Taylor; in-laws: Richard and Virginia Umlauf; sister-in-law: Lisa (Tim) Wilson; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles , and many very special close friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bethel Church, 10202 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Bethel Church in Crown Point, IN. Interment at West Creek Cemetery.
Cindy was a member of Community Bible Church in Cedar Lake, IN, a graduate of Taylor University and a former Kahler Junior High School teacher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cindy’s name may be given to the Community Bible Church in Cedar Lake, IN or Crown Point Christian School, St. John, IN whose families care and love, blessed Cindy and her family immensely.
